YardVision AI Privacy Policy

YardVision AI (“YardVision,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use yardvisionapp.com and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, account identifiers, verification status, subscription plan, uploaded yard photos, prompts, generated images, saved designs, monthly usage information, technical logs, browser and device information, IP address, session information, and error data.

Payments are processed by Stripe. YardVision does not need to store your full payment-card number. We may receive limited billing information such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan status, and payment status.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, verify emails, authenticate users, generate AI landscape designs, save and retrieve projects, enforce plan limits, manage subscriptions, send password-reset and service emails, prevent abuse and fraud, troubleshoot problems, improve YardVision, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Processing

When you request a landscape design, information needed to fulfill the request may be sent to third-party AI service providers. This can include uploaded images, prompts, and generation instructions. Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical information, government ID numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers that help operate YardVision, including hosting, databases, image storage, AI processing, email delivery, payment processing, security, analytics, and error monitoring. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, YardVision, or others.

5. Cookies and Sessions

YardVision uses cookies or similar session technologies to keep users signed in and maintain account security. Essential session cookies are necessary for core account features.

6. Data Storage and Security

YardVision uses third-party infrastructure to store application data and uploaded or generated images. We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, including encrypted web connections, password hashing, access controls, and secure session practices. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts and saved projects, process billing, prevent fraud, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or logs.

8. Your Choices

You may be able to delete saved designs, cancel YardVision Pro, update certain account information, or request help regarding your personal information. Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or saved designs.

9. Email Communications

YardVision may send transactional emails such as verification links, password resets, billing notices, and important service or security messages.

10. Children

YardVision is not intended for children under 13. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account unless we expressly provide otherwise.

11. California Privacy

California residents may have rights under applicable privacy law, including rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information. YardVision does not currently sell personal information for money or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

12. Third-Party Services

YardVision may link to or rely on third-party services such as Stripe and cloud or AI providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as YardVision, our technology, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted with an updated effective date.
